Corporate Social Investment

The Matasis Foundation was founded by Dr Emsley Manne Dipico in 2012. The Foundations main aim and objective is to assist the poor and previously disadvantaged, and in doing so, contribute to Nation Building & Poverty Alleviation in South Africa. Our main Focus areas are:

  • Protection of family stability
  • Support of educational institutions
  • Poverty alleviation
  • Building & equipping facilities for communities which are in need
  • Promotion and preservation of arts , culture and customs

We aim to build long lasting relationships with the Non Profit Organisations and communities that we assist. This allows us to monitor the progress been made. Some of the Programmes – and people – that have historically benefited from our help

  • The Last Hope Organisation: They assist The Greater Mongololo informal settlement by providing regular meals to the needy and child care services for toddlers.
  • FAMSA: Founded in 1954, the organisations are of focus is promotion
  • of a Healthy functional Family Life. They empower people to build, reconstruct and maintain sound relationships, in family, marriage and in communities.
  • JICAMA 89: A NPO actively working with The Sibonile School for the visually impaired. We have assisted them in refurbishing the Boys Hostel.
  • The Same Foundation: An Organization that provides Healthcare & Educational facilities in poverty stricken communities. We have assisted them with Funding for a Paediatric Ward in Leratong Hospital.
  • Buskaid: A Charitable trust whose main purpose is that all township children be given the opportunity to learn and play classical music to the highest International standard.
  • Earth Centre (Prev SARDA): EARTH Centre provides opportunities for disabled children to participate in therapeutic and recreational riding, as well as giving both children and adults access to other interactive equine activities.
  • Teddy Bear Foundation: A Foundation that works with abused children and their families providing efficient and professional services that effectively promote their healing.
